It's 8 per user page, but you can have as many pages as you need, I have mapped many plugins with over 100 params, but personally I prefer breaking a device down to specific chunks, helps muscle memory and organisation of workflow. Having to remember a single setup with a hundred params at once sounds like a nightmare to me but each to their own
