I suppose I am very fortunate to not see the "programming" aspect of Bitwig in that way, and to see it as a clear, focused performance and production DAW that has no such limitations. Coming from 20+ years of Cubase, BWS is a breath of fresh air that moves away from over-complication and brings what I need forward.
I also suppose some producers have much greater expectations than I have, or greater technical needs for production, but BWS fits perfectly in my studio.... <sigh> alongside Cubase. (Im still pretty grumpy with steinberg). For me, live jamming with syntakt and BWS is one of my daily happiest activities, and Im pretty excited to grab a digitakt2 soon.
