Hi,
I regularly have midi files for piano pieces wherein the left hand and the right hand are on separate midi tracks. I would like to merge the two midi tracks into a single track such that the whole piano part is in a single midi track.
How can I do this?
I tried copying and pasting all phases of the two tracks into a new track but somehow the phrases get shifted and all the harmony is lost.
Background:
I would like to transform piano sheet music into RC midi tracks. With musescore I can scan the pdf piano sheet music and then export the scanned sheet music into midi. But the bass clef and the treble clef are written into separate midi files. I also tried merging the files using Ableton, but I just cannot achieve it.
Any other suggestions about how I can merge the two piano tracks into a single one? Maybe another tool?
Thanks for your help
Jens
