Interesting use of Maschine. Akai MPC has a controller mode for surface controlling the MPC software. Cubase 14 is the #1 DAW for MIDI. It would be very nice to stream Cubase channels into Luna's Mixer in realtime.Luna is an excellent DAW for OP's purpose. Mixing is fast and easy because it sounds great before you even do anything. For use as a main DAW, it lacks a lot of MIDI capabilities, which is why I run Maschine as a plugin inside of it.
